White Handleless Kitchen
Winchester

A bright, refined kitchen with effortless flow. This stunning open-plan kitchen brings light, luxury, and clarity to a reimagined space in a beautifully extended home. With its waterfall-edge island, clever storage, and minimalist detailing, the kitchen feels luxurious and serene, a true showcase of simplicity done exceptionally well.

Project details

  • The brief for this project was clear from the outset. The clients wanted to relocate their kitchen into a newly repurposed space, formerly a three-car garage, to create a long, elegant kitchen that felt calm, modern, and beautifully connected to the rest of their home.

The new kitchen needed to work hard for daily life and entertaining, while still feeling luxurious and clutter-free. Aesthetically, the goal was crisp and clean: white cabinetry, soft textures, and high-quality finishes that would stand the test of time while elevating the whole ground floor.

  • The cabinetry is from Nobilia’s Touch range in classic white, selected for its smooth lacquered surface and minimalist appeal. To balance the white palette and ground the design, we introduced a timber-effect floating shelf with integrated lighting, linking the kitchen back to the wooden floors throughout the rest of the living space.

Quartz worktops with full-height cladding added a luxurious touch and wrapped the island in a waterfall end, enhancing the sense of sleek continuity. A Silgranit undermount sink in anthracite provided a touch of subtle contrast and the AEG appliances were chosen for their performance and clean design.

  • The central island is a signature feature. Long and spacious, it is designed to anchor the room without interrupting the clean lines. Thoughtful lighting was another key detail, with recessed LEDs and feature pendants all positioned on separate switches to allow for flexible mood-setting throughout the day.

To keep the main kitchen serene, we incorporated a hidden “side kitchen” just around the corner. This clever second zone includes a dishwasher, wine cooler, second sink, and extra prep space, allowing everyday mess to be tucked away without disrupting the aesthetic of the main kitchen.

  • This kitchen was part of a wider transformation project that involved converting a garage into a stunning new kitchen and living area. We worked closely with the client and builder to ensure the kitchen design aligned perfectly with the new architectural layout.

  • The completed kitchen is both simple and striking. A calming, light-filled space that exudes quiet confidence, its carefully chosen materials and layout designed for modern living offer elegance without excess. The clients were thrilled with how the design came together and love the freedom the hidden prep area gives them day to day.
