Green Handleless Kitchen
Bournemouth

This refined olive green kitchen in Bournemouth strikes a perfect balance between modern simplicity and warmth. With rich, tactile finishes and a spacious layout flowing into a practical utility area, it’s a feature-rich blend of style and functionality designed for everyday living.

Project details

  • The client wanted a clean, contemporary kitchen with a muted colour palette, durable finishes, and a generous utility space that could house key appliances without compromising the room's aesthetic. Storage was a key priority, alongside maintaining a sense of openness throughout. They also hoped to soften the space visually and bring in some subtle warmth.

  • The kitchen was designed in the Senso range from Nobilia in Olive Green featuring a soft, matt finish with built-in anti-fingerprint technology. The handleless cabinetry, lit by Kitchen Lifestyles' signature LED handle rail, offers a streamlined look while keeping the space easy to navigate. Crisp White Shimmer quartz worktops introduce a touch of light and sparkle, while the floating shelves in Sierra Oak add contrast and character. Appliances include a black glass suite from AEG and a downdraft Nikola Tesla Prime hob by Elica. Sinks and taps by Caple complete the setup, with one featuring a pull-out spray for extra convenience.

  • Though elegant, this kitchen and utility was designed to work hard. We’re particularly proud of our problem solving in the adjoining U-shaped utility space. Careful planning ensured every appliance had a place, from the washing machine to the secondary sink, and to accommodate the client’s storage goals and optimise circulation, the team specified custom-reduced-depth drawer units, which gave us just enough space for the appliances. As always, the installation team handled challenges (including full wall re-plastering after tile removal) with care and precision.

  • We managed the project from start to finish, beginning with expert design consultation and material selection. Overseeing all preparation works, including significant wall repairs, before installing cabinetry, worktops, lighting, and appliances, the result is a cohesive kitchen and utility solution that looks effortlessly polished.

  • This kitchen now functions as the heart of the home: a calming, contemporary space that’s both practical and beautiful. The client was especially pleased with how the floating shelves and soft green finish brought warmth and individuality to the design.
