Our client came to us with architectural drawings for a large rear extension incorporating a new kitchen, dining and living space. His vision was clear from the outset: create a statement kitchen that would make an impact within the new open-plan room while delivering all the practicality needed for everyday life. 

This kitchen features Nobilia furniture in Fjord Blue, complemented by horizontal gold handle rails for a bold yet sophisticated contrast. Havana Oak was introduced inside the bespoke coffee cupboard and across the open cabinetry at the back of the island, bringing warmth and texture to the deep blue scheme.  

The look is completed with 20mm Calacatta Gold quartz worktops, whose subtle veining ties beautifully into the gold accents. 

There are several unique and bespoke elements within this kitchen, including a tall corner cabinet with LeMans pull-outs to make better use of otherwise difficult-to-access storage. A made-to-measure coffee cupboard features integrated oak spice racks, creating a dedicated space that is both practical and beautifully considered.  

When the horizontal handle rail posed a challenge for a conventional tall fridge-freezer, we designed a bespoke cabinet to house two mid-height fridges with integrated freezers below. 

The kitchen is equipped with a comprehensive suite of NEFF appliances, including two Slide&Hide single ovens, a combination oven with warming drawer, integrated fridges and freezers, and a dishwasher. An Elica NikolaTesla venting hob allows extraction to be incorporated directly into the cooking area, helping maintain the clean, uninterrupted look of the open-plan space. 

The finished kitchen delivers exactly what the original brief called for: a striking focal point for the new extension. Rich Fjord Blue cabinetry, warm oak details, gold accents and carefully designed bespoke storage come together to create a kitchen with real presence, while still working effortlessly as part of the wider living space.
